CrowdSec analysis

CVE-2025-55182 is a critical vulnerability in React Server Components versions 19.0.0, 19.1.0, 19.1.1, and 19.2.0 including the following packages: react-server-dom-parcel, react-server-dom-turbopack, and react-server-dom-webpack. The vulnerable code unsafely deserializes payloads from HTTP requests to Server Function endpoints.

CrowdSec has been tracking this vulnerability and its exploits since 4th of December 2025.

CrowdSec network data shows that most actors exploiting CVE-2025-55182 rely on broad, untargeted scans with minimal filtering. The activity is largely automated and opportunistic in nature. CrowdSec network telemetry also shows that exploitation of CVE-2025-55182 has significantly declined over the past week. Attack volumes are well below the long-term average, suggesting attackers are rapidly losing interest. The vulnerability appears to be falling out of active use across most threat landscapes.

Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted HTTP requests to Server Function endpoints in React Server Components. By manipulating the payloads, they can trigger unsafe deserialization, leading to remote code execution on the affected server without requiring authentication.
