Widgets for Social Photo Feed - Information Disclosure (CVE-2025-14726)

CVE-2025-14726 is a vulnerability in the Widgets for Social Photo Feed WordPress plugin that allows unauthenticated attackers to access and modify plugin settings via exposed REST API endpoints. This flaw could be exploited to alter site behavior or leak sensitive configuration data, potentially leading to further attacks or disruption of website functionality.

CrowdSec network telemetry also shows that exploitation of CVE-2025-14726 has significantly declined over the past week. Attack volumes are well below the long-term average, suggesting attackers are rapidly losing interest. The vulnerability appears to be falling out of active use across most threat landscapes.

Attackers exploit unauthenticated access to the REST API endpoints /wp-json/trustindex_feed_hook_instagram/troubleshooting and /wp-json/trustindex_feed_hook_instagram/get-token to retrieve sensitive site configuration details or plugin tokens without proper authorization.
