## Description

YesWiki before 4.7.0 contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows remote attackers to fetch arbitrary URLs by supplying [[|URL]] wiki syntax to the render handler. Attackers can pass the syntax in the content parameter of the page render handler to reach internal hosts and ports and read their responses.

## CrowdSec analysis

[CVE-2026-116205](https://euvd.enisa.europa.eu/vulnerability/CVE-2026-116205) is an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in YesWiki versions before 4.7.0. Remote attackers can use crafted wiki syntax in the page render handler to make the server request arbitrary URLs, potentially reaching internal hosts and ports and reading their responses.

CrowdSec has been tracking this vulnerability and its exploits since 27th of October 2026.

CrowdSec has not observed any significant exploitation activity targeting CVE-2026-116205 across its network. As a result, no community-driven trend analysis is available for this vulnerability at this time.

Observed exploitation attempts target YesWiki’s page `render` handler (e.g. `/?wiki=PagePrincipale/render`, any page name works), supplying `[[|http://…]]` syntax in the `content` parameter to make the server fetch an attacker-controlled URL.
