## CrowdSec analysis

[CVE-2025-48703](https://euvd.enisa.europa.eu/vulnerability/CVE-2025-48703) is a severe vulnerability in CentOS Web Panel (CWP) before version 0.9.8.1205 that allows unauthenticated remote code execution through shell metacharacters in the t_total parameter of a filemanager changePerm request. Attackers who know a valid non-root username can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary commands on the server, potentially leading to full system compromise.

CrowdSec has been tracking this vulnerability and its exploits since 24th of September 2025.

CrowdSec has not observed any significant exploitation activity targeting CVE-2025-48703 across its network. As a result, no community-driven trend analysis is available for this vulnerability at this time.

Attackers exploit endpoints like `/myuser/index.php?module=filemanager&acc=changePerm` by sending crafted POST requests with malicious payloads in parameters such as `t_total` or `fileName`, often attempting to execute arbitrary commands or establish reverse shells.
