## CrowdSec analysis

[CVE-2025-47813](https://euvd.enisa.europa.eu/vulnerability/CVE-2025-47813) is an information disclosure vulnerability in Wing FTP Server prior to version 7.4.4, where the loginok.html page reveals the full local installation path when a long UID cookie value is used. Attackers could leverage this information to facilitate further attacks, such as path traversal or targeted exploitation based on the server's directory structure.

CrowdSec has been tracking this vulnerability and its exploits since 16th of July 2025.

According to CrowdSec data, while opportunistic exploitation dominates, a portion of threat actors trying to exploit CVE-2025-47813 apply basic targeting methods such as port or service detection. This indicates emerging patterns of selective targeting.
Additionally, according to week-over-week analysis by CrowdSec, exploitation of CVE-2025-47813 is surging. Attack volumes are spiking well above historical norms, indicating widespread and escalating interest from threat actors. CVE-2025-47813 is currently experiencing high visibility and active exploitation across the internet.

Attackers exploit this vulnerability by sending POST requests to `/loginok.html` with a specially crafted overlong `UID` cookie, causing the server to disclose internal filesystem paths in error messages.
