- **Weaknesses:** CWE-78 (Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection'))
- **Tags:** iot

## Description

NUUO Camera contains a command injection vulnerability affecting the print_file function in /handle_config.php. The manipulation of the argument log leads to command injection, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the system.

## CrowdSec analysis

[CVE-2025-1338](https://euvd.enisa.europa.eu/vulnerability/CVE-2025-1338) is a critical command injection vulnerability in NUUO Camera devices up to version 20250203. The /handle_config.php endpoint fails to sanitize the log parameter, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary OS commands, potentially leading to full system compromise.

CrowdSec has been tracking this vulnerability and its exploits since 18th of March 2026.

CrowdSec has not observed any significant exploitation activity targeting CVE-2025-1338 across its network. As a result, no community-driven trend analysis is available for this vulnerability at this time.

Attackers send a GET request to `/handle_config.php` with the `log` parameter containing shell metacharacters such as `;id;` to execute arbitrary OS commands on the target device.
