## Description

The MStore API plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Blind SQL Injection via the 'id' parameter in versions up to, and including, 4.0.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameters and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

## CrowdSec analysis

[CVE-2023-3197](https://euvd.enisa.europa.eu/vulnerability/CVE-2023-3197) is a critical unauthenticated blind SQL injection vulnerability in the MStore API plugin for WordPress, affecting versions up to and including 4.0.1. This flaw allows remote attackers to manipulate SQL queries via the 'id' parameter, potentially enabling them to extract sensitive information from the database without authentication. Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to significant data breaches and compromise of the affected WordPress site.

CrowdSec has been tracking this vulnerability and its exploits since 30th of March 2026.
